Our most popular buildings! Our lodges have all you need under one roof for groups ranging from 36 to 90. Lodges are a short walk to Shaver Dining Hall and our most popular adventure activities.

Cabin Areas

Perfect for large groups looking for a traditional camp feel! The Robb, Orchard, and Settle Village areas each have 10 cabins (12 bunks each), a bathhouse, a meeting lodge—not to mention a fire pit for s’mores and gaga pits for the kids.

  • Not at all! Camp Loucon welcomes both day groups and overnight retreats. Whether you're planning a one-day meeting, team-building event, school field trip, or a weekend retreat, we'll help you create a schedule that fits your group.

  • No. Groups staying in our lodges are welcome to bring their own food and use the provided kitchen facilities. You can also choose our meal service and let our dining team handle the cooking, or combine the two depending on your schedule.

  • Most retreat lodging does not include linens. Guests should plan to bring their own sheets, blankets or sleeping bag, pillows, and towels unless otherwise noted. If your lodging includes linens, we'll let you know during the booking process.

  • Absolutely! We'd love to show you around. Contact us to schedule a tour, and we'll walk you through our lodging, meeting spaces, dining facilities, and activity areas so you can find the best fit for your group.

  • Our lodging rates vary depending on the time of year.

  • Camp Loucon can accommodate groups of all sizes—from couples retreats to conferences and camps with several hundred participants. We'll help you find the lodging, meeting spaces, and dining options that best fit your group.

  • No. Camp Loucon is an alcohol-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free campus. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment that reflects our mission and values.

  • To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, pets are not permitted on campus. Service animals that are trained to perform a specific task for a person with a disability are always welcome.

  • Yes! Wi-Fi is available in most meeting spaces and lodging facilities. While service is generally reliable, we encourage groups to unplug and enjoy the natural surroundings during their stay.

  • Activities are available as optional add-ons and can be customized for your group. From ziplining and climbing to canoeing, hiking, and team-building experiences, we'll help you choose the activities that best fit your goals and budget.

  • We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for spring and fall weekends, which fill quickly. Some groups reserve a year or more in advance, but we'll always do our best to accommodate last-minute availability.

  • Yes! Kentucky United Methodist churches and organizations receive discounted retreat rates. If you're affiliated with the United Methodist Church, let us know when requesting a quote so we can apply the appropriate pricing.

  • Many of our facilities are ADA accessible, including several lodging and meeting spaces. If your group has specific accessibility needs, let us know during the planning process so we can recommend the best accommodations.

  • Most meeting spaces include TVs or projectors with HDMI connections, along with basic presentation equipment. Additional equipment may be available upon request. Let us know what you'll need, and we'll do our best to have everything ready before your arrival.
